Description of the Functional Areas

The VETS GWAC contract is divided into two Functional Areas (FA). These represent two different types of services provided. CSSS.NET is approved to provide services in both Functional Areas.

FA1 deals with Systems Operations and Maintenance. Areas include integration support, data storage management and network support.

FA2 deals with Information Systems Engineering. Its areas include system and software design, software engineering and information technology strategic planning and studies.
